My mother loves Catherine Cookson dramas and is trying to remember the title of one. She remembers that the heroine becomes pregnant for an actor but is forced into marriage with another man by her father. The widower she marries needed hall with his children. At the end of this movie the woman has fallen in love with a relative of the widower who had by then died. The movie may end with her final wedding scene. the final husband met her while driving a taxi that took her to the widower. My mother thinks that the heroine was named Catherine. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
