In the movie, one of the characters is a mechanic that works on I believe Ford model A cars. He is always talking about how that Titanic will be a great success, but no one believes him.
The woman who loves him tries to get him to stop dreaming and be more grounded.
One scene is when he asks her to marry him, he pulls out a greasy rag out of his pocket instead of the ring and she gets upset because he is always dirty and tinkering with the cars.
