I’m trying to find a period drama set in the 1700s or about that. This was possibly shown on the bbc in the 80s. All I remember is a man who was now in a lot of trouble and arrested for crimes had survived a shipwreck years ago with a few other people including a little blonde girl. The man was trying to clear his name or something and. There were flashbacks to the island scenes of the shipwreck survivors. In the end the man had a reunion with the little girl and she was a grown woman. I just can’t remember much but I’d love to know the title of this series please. I was young when I saw it.
