Can't remember much but I get very clear flashes of the female character
Movie was probably released in 80's to maybe maybe early 90's.
Had the pace & styling very very similar to an Indiana Jones movie

Don't remember much....
sort of 1920's-1940's styling maybe maybe WWII
but the lead male & female were either both pilots or I want to say she was the surprise factor of being just as good of pilot
Her hair was short pixie cut blonde, with that little curl around the ear but cut short on the name of the neck. I remember her in a head hugging soft leather airline cap, the full head shower cap hugging close to head w the straps around the chin
Scenes & landscape had something to do w Nepal or Tibet... lots of mountains
I want to say they were artifact hunters (maybe/that's fuzzy) similar to Indiana Jones concept -- there was definitely an "adventure" bad guys vs our two hero/heroine trying to put plot them, chase scenes in the vintage bi-plane type of plane w propeller - pilot in front, co pilot tandem behind pilot, heads sticking up in the air, likely wearing leather goggles
There was romance in the same caliber as Indiana Jones or Romancing The Stone "adventure partners who have a clever sparing romance back & forth"
And here's where my memory might have taken a turn and I might have merged two movies together -- I feel fairly certain there was an opening scene in some Mongolian or Tibetan Bar, up in the mountains, big men dressed in heavy animal fur, lots of drinking & brawling going on, and SHE might have actually been the surprise bar owner -- Able to go toe to toe w the men & drink them under the table.
Please say it's literally not something as obvious as "it actually IS an Indiana Jones movie goofball!!!" :-)
that's why it's bugging me..... the strongest memory is that blonde pilot heroine in tan an d leather pants, knee boots, leather bomber jacket, fur collar, pilot cap, chin straps,little 1920's forward cheek curl by the ear.... long slender pointed pixie nose
Fingers crossed that was real & not vivid dream merged w an actual Indy Jone!!!
