I am searching for the name of a movie I have seen here on German TV years ago.
In the 19th century or early 20th century an English woman (I think she was a little elegant) met her partner at a train station far away in the Australian outback. On the way to his farm in a light and open horse-drawn carriage she was astonished about the dirt. A big part of the movie they are living on his farm. She becomes firm with this easy life. She cut a good figure on the farm. She seems to be a strong person. Then he becomes more and more ill. He dies because of this disease. Then she tilled the farm by her own together with some employees of her dead partner.
I don't remember whether they have been married. But I think they have been married. I think they have known each other not much before living together in the outback.
I think it was a movie from the 1990ies or early 2000.
For me there has been no very famous actors.
