I’m struggling to remember the name of a British adaptation. British war based (the soldiers wore red coats I believe) the soldiers had to pick women who then came to the barracks and a young couple in love the solider has to bring his lady to the mean officer and stand outside the tent whilst she spent the night there, sad story for him as he ended up drowning himself. The officer and lady fell in love.
Can anybody remember this and shed some light on the title? I believe it was recently 2010 onwards?
