I was not sure what type of movie it was,... English or Asian or other, but I search for Korean movies and use google a lot and I came across this movie called "Ju Dou". It is about... A woman that plays the lead character in the film named Ju Dou. She is a poor woman who is purchased by an old, impotent, and extremely cruel and abusive man who owns a Dye Factory or Dye mill. I did not watch it as yet so I do not know if someone dies in it or not.
