Hi! I am looking for a movie about a woman who gets payed to have a child with a rich man and give her away to him no questions asked, and years later she ends up working for the same man as a home tutor for his (and her) daughter. The daughter has been allowed to do as she pleased and doesn't even know how to read, so the woman (mother) teaches her using cards with drawings. In the end I think she and the rich man fall in love. Another detail that may help is that the child has a little house in a lake, and I think at some point it is winter, the lake is frozen, and she is running on it when the ice breaks and she falls in. She does get rescued, though! I hope you can help!
