I saw a beautiful movie when I was young about a child who was being cared for by his two aunts. One was beautiful and wealthy and had emotional issues. The child did not like the wealthy aunt but grew to understand her. She was killed in a ferry boat accident at the end of the film. I believe the actors were British or Australian. I saw it in the early 80's. No clue on the name and have never seen it again but always wanted to find out about it.
