I cant remember the tittle nor have i ever been able to find or seen the film since i first viewed it when it aired on lifetime probably was made in the 80s/90s
Two woman give birth to two baby girls in the same hospital. One woman travles to a hospital out of her own home town because she was raped by a bĺack man and doesnt know if the baby is her husbands or the result of the rape and will be dark skin. She plans to give the baby up for adoption if shes not her husbands and then would tell him the baby died because she feared what her husband would do,she ends up giving birth to a mixed race child and is afraid of taking the child home. The other woman who also had a baby girl but was white, begans a smaĺl friendship with the other lady. Eventually a hospital fire starts and the one woman dies and the other woman makes a quick drastic decesion to switch the babies taking home the other ladies white daughter.
Eventially as the mixed girl grows up she seeks and finds the truth and her biological mother that swaped her with a white baby
