I have been thinking about this show for many many years, but I don't remember the name. Mostly because I watched a dubbed to Vietnamese version of the Hong Kong drama. I remember watching this particular series about 10 times in the late 90s. Considering it's a dubbed version I'd think it's probably an early or mid 90s release? I could be completely off with that though. So The storyline...
A poor/lower class girl is getting into her usual mischief, she's a little rough around the edges & sort of a tomboy. She's about to get into trouble when a wealthy man somehow ends up claiming that she is his wife/finance to get her out of trouble.
She ends up moving into his home where he already has 2 or 3 wives. The existing wives are all well mannered & adore the husband but the new wife is rebellious & doesn't want to marry the man. At first the man seems shallow but he isn't, he is the nicest kindest smartest man in almost the countries!
As they live together she learns more about the "family" and they learn more about her. She brings new experiences to their lives as she's a female who does manly things like kungfu, as time goes on they all can't live without each other.
This series is set in olden day China, the end of the warring states period because I remember one of the 'existing wives' liked to dress in modern British clothing.
I would classify this as a drama comedy with a tiny bit of action scenes (because she likes to fight) set in olden days.
ANYHOW please help. Let me know if you know what this show is called! I really really want to watch it again and more importantly I want to stop thinking about it
