A Chinese drama (around 2009 or before) about dancing, where there’s a scene in a dance competition and the female lead has a condition where she is sometimes blind (and takes medicine/pills for it) but her dance partner (her boyfriend?) helped and guided her while the spotlight was on them, even though she couldn’t see. She was wearing a blue dress for this scene, and I think she had glitter on her eyelids (makeup).
In this drama, there is also a male actor that isn’t Chinese- his name is, I think, Paul and he is Caucasian.
There is also an older Chinese actress in this drama, who is also a dancer and is grandmother to a girl that later sided with her rivals/antagonists.
