It's a film made in the year 2000 (more or less) the film is set in the early years of the 1960s. A man is found beaten up and unconscious in a small American town. When he wakes up he can't remember anything either about his life or his name. He keeps having flashbacks of scenes, some very violent. He becomes friend with a local waitress. A woman appears who declares to be his wife and gives the local sheriff the man's name. The man slowly begins to remember and by the end of the film we find out he's a professional hit-man who has been hired to kill President Kennedy who is supposed to pass by the town. At the end he fights against the men who have hired him and dies but the money they gave him for the job is given by the same man to the waitress to help her restart a new life. I remember that the main character is acted by Val Kilmer (I'm not really sure!)
