I am looking for a movie in which a driver (male I think) picks up a hitch hiker. Throughout the movie you are led to believe that the driver is a dangerous escaped convict and the hitch hiker (a female I think) is a care-free girl/woman. At the end you realize that the escaped convict is the girl/woman . I believe the movie was released either late 70s or early 80s.
