I'm looking for a 90's period drama tv series. A woman decides to marry a man. After they are married she is given a letter which tells her that the man she actually loves is not related to her. She runs out of her wedding to go and tell him. He rejects her so she goes back to her husband sick. The towns people laugh at them.
