So we watched this in a high school English class and I can't remember for the life of me what it's called! It's about an immigrant girl who moves to America with her family in the mid or late 1800s. She dreams of owning her own farm one day. She falls in love with a neighbor boy but he leaves so they don't have a relationship till it skips to her live 20 years later. He comes back and she has her own large scale farm with her brothers. They are still in love but her brothers think he's pretending so he can get her money. One of her nieces falls in love with somebody but she's married to somebody else. She has an affair and her husband catches them in the act in an orchard and kills them both. That's all I remember but if anybody could help me out that'd be great! Thank you!
