Title Help

I watched the movie on TCM years ago, and in the commentary prior to the movie he said that it was considered a b-movie of the time. The movie itself is from the late 30's-40's. It's black and white and is set in a large manor near a beach. The woman (wife) keeps seeing things or things keep happening to her and her husband, mother-in-law, and the family doctor keep telling her she imagined all of it. It's a plot for the husband to get the wife locked up so he no longer has to deal with her. In the end she figures it all out. I believe the title had "window" or "curtain" in it. I can not find it with searching just for those words in a title. Any help would be great, it was a great movie!
