I only remember one seen which I saw as a child so the movie could have been made in the 1990's or earlier. The scene is of a party in a ballroom and a woman walks into the ballroom with a black and red ball gown. It seemed that everyone disapproved either the scandalous colour of the dress or of the girl herself. Can anyone help
