I am trying to find a mini series. The only things I can remember : a young woman lives in a small village with her family, little sister. They get invited to a wedding/family & she meets her 2th cousin?, he has either a leg injury or lost his leg - he visits her, asked her to come with him - she stays, marries an other man - he writes the little sister? - later they see each other again. She wants to leave her husband - he gets mad - injures himself - she runs away. She goes to him - some city at the sea.
I know its not much - please help!
