I watched the film when I was younger in the 90s, could have been filmed in the 70s - late 90s. It was about a young girl with long black hair and she was accused of being a witch. All I remember is that she was standing by a horse, made eye contact with a man, and when the man looked back at her she was gone. When everyone was accusing her she hugged her father and said "You believe me, don't you?" And no, it's not the Crucible ;) Would love to finally find it again!
