Older movie where a couple is in love, but he goes off to (I think) war on a ship. She later finds out she's pregnant. When a well to do older gentleman finds out about it, he offers to marry her to save her from disgrace. The boyfriend comes back to the town several years later for find that she was married and had a son not knowing it was his. She never stopped loving him and the old man knew that. At the end of the movie the old man dies leaving them his fortune.
