Im looking for a movie I saw on tv with my uncle years ago where this girl's father has a black woman living with them that she doesn't like so she tries to leave with her older brother on his honeymoon but it doesn't work so she later on runs away from home at night? I think the setting of the film was in the 1940s but Im not sure.
