Can you help me find the title of this movie please?Movie is about a young women who is engaged to a man in her village either in England or Ireland circa 1940's.She falls in love with an other man by the name of John I think. In the final scene John goes to proclaim his love to the young women and asks her to go away with him but she is torn. Her husband calls out to her because he knows she is at a crossroad of leaving him.
It's a very powerful scene. Also, in the movie her husband is nuts and abusive to his wife. At one point he figures out that she is in love with the other man who happens to have an old leg injury from the war and in his desperate attempt to manipulate her into staying with him he cuts off his own leg in the saw factory he works in.
