I saw part of this movie (either fell asleep or Mom made me go to bed) when I was very young and have searched for the title numerous times with no success.
Dawn - My memories mirror yours - Images of her choker necklace to hide the scar have always haunted me...I recall a big ship and journey as well - I was so intrigued by it and have wanted to see it again for so long. How curious the things we remember.
So thrilled that my search enabled me stumble upon this website AND that I scrolled down enough to finally find the post. Going to search it up and hopefully watch now.
Will be interesting to see it as an adult after all these years.
