So the opening scene I believe is where a father and mother tries to kill themselves and their kids by carbon monoxide poisoning. They sit in the garage in their car with the car running. The mother, father and sister are passed out but the boy gets out of the car and just walks away. He later meets a black girl (I think) who lives in either a home or a shelter. I don't think they ended up together at the end. I think the father may have lost his job or something. Please help!
