please help me find the title of a movie I watched about 20 years ago. It's about a teenage deaf girl who's mother and father keep her locked away in a shed and feed her lettuce. She has a pet possum. Two other kids from the same county come across her and begin taking her out at night. They buy her a hearing aid and teaching her 2 talk and dance. The deaf girls father is very mean and trys to hurt her towards the end of the movie when he finds out she has been going. out. Thanks
