Did you ever find the title of this movie? I've been looking for it for years and I can't seem to find any information about it at all! The scene you're describing at the end was him riding beside her train on horseback. He offered her a bouquet of wildflowers which she accepted through the window. I'd love to watch it again if you've found any clues about it! I think it took place in Canada and may have been based on a memoir.
