Title Help

I'm having trouble remembering the title of a movie that was showing someones past. I believe the old person was a typewriter and the other character was a girl who stumbled upon the story. I'm pretty sure they lived right on the beach too. It was set in the past and was telling of a romeo and Juliet kinda romance with a fisherman? I think and a high classed girl. Sorry if it's not enough information.
