i am looking of the name of a film it was shot in colour and was in the 80s 90s. but was set in 1800 or early 1900 in a coastal setting i remember a young girl collecting seaweed with a donkey with side baskets to put on farmland she either had elderly parents or grandparents and i remember a young man bullying her and i think he put a thistle under the saddle and upset the donkey. i remeber a ship wreak and the village people looking at a pile of bodies on a slipway at a harbour.I don't remember if this was set in Ireland Or England
