This movie is possibly set in the 40s/50s its about two brothers, ones a teenager ones younger, possibly orphans. They meet a teenage girl. One rainy night the younger brother drowns after getting stuck in a mud hole. Only the brother, a priest and a man are at the funeral, the man apologies to the priest for coming out in the rain. The older brother and girl later in the film sleep together after referring to sex as the 8th wonder of the world. This film has haunted my memory since i was a kid, i must of saw it in the 80s/90s any ideas??
