I am looking for a movie for my grandmother's 94th birthday. She thinks the name is The Iron Cross and that she saw it in high school which would have been in the late 1930's. It is about a german soldier who has earned the iron cross and after returning home finds his fiance with another man. The soldier kills the lover and says something about how he earned the iron cross for killing so many people who had done nothing wrong to him, but he gets in trouble for killing someone who did wrong him. Any suggestions?? Thank you
