I was looking for the title of a movie drama of a young girl that lived in Canada between 1940's and 1960's that was a prostitute after having several babies delivered at home by her mom , the babies may have been from a step-father or boy friend of her mom's, she was a school drop out, she eventually was arrested and that sort of ends the movie , it is a very well done story and may be based on a true incident/person/event. This girl is shocked to find out the newborn infants were placed in an attic of the home and left to die as she assumed they would be adopted out. It is a good movie of a child that is just not treated well by her mother and the justice system.
