Hello I am looking for a movie that I watched many years ago. It was a black and white movie. I would like to say 1940's however I am not sure. the movie starts with a party (perhaps New Years ever) in a small town. A rich doctor gets drunk and meets a small time girl who also was drunk and they get married. After their drunken state is over; the truth comes out. He is already engaged to be married. He is from a high social family. So they quietly tired to get it all resolved. not sure what happens but he had to continue being with his wife and not finance. I remember them going away in his yacht. Eventually they fall in love and stay married. that's all i remember. could you help me please with a title? thank you
