Title Help

I really would like to know the title of this 1900's era movie. All I can remember of the movie is that this crazy man known to the young girl breaks into the house and is searching for her and finds her in her room. He demands to be with her and have his way but she refuses. She struggles and tries to get away from him. She is wearing a beautiful dress with a hoop underneath and garments. He holds her on the bed and lifts up dress and hoop to tear her undergarments off. Now I cnt remember if the aunt or nana comes into the room to find this man with her niece or granddaughter. The man says something and runs off. The aunt or nana tells the girl to not tell anyone and forget it happened. I hope someone knows the title.
