Hi this has been killing me for almost 10 years, I saw a very emotional movie set, I think in the early 1900's about a young girl maybe 10 years old, living with her strict and racist grandma i think it was... and she doesn't let the girl have friends, I remember a scene with a teddy bear that the grandma takes away or something. also the young girl befriends a black gardener who the grandma fires soon after... really want to watch it again now that I'm not a child (was the first movie to ever make me cry).
