This is a tough one. I remember only the very end. it was a PBS/British film or mini-series from the 80's 0r 90's. A wealthy English man was married to a woman that was beautiful but a complete horror. I remember at the end she was caught in some stocks outside the mansion and the butler was bringing her husband a double bladed axe. If I remember it right, the last shot was him swinging the axe like he was going to cut her head off. Anyone remember this?
