Title Help
In reply to:
Hello, I was wondering if anyone could guess this film for me? I remember watching the ending of it as a very small girl, probably on Turner Classic Movies. I think it was from the 40's or 50's, but everyone in the film was dressed very nicely, possibly Victorian/Edwardian era, and they were all on a ship. The last bits of the film, I remember was the fact that the ship was sailing to heaven (?) and everyone knew they were going to die and face God. There was a man, a poor (?) couple, I think...but particularly, I remember a snooty rich lady who wasn't scared at all, and walked right out onto the deck of the ship to...uh, meet her Maker, I suppose. I don't know if this makes any sense, in short, it was a cruise ship sailing to heaven. I think. I have a feeling there was a famous leading man in it, Robert Montgomerey, maybe? Any ideas at all would be very helpful. Thank you!
