I cannot remember the name of a film I saw about 1981 or 2- it was the late 1800s, a sickly invalid wife at home in bed all the time while her businessman husband went out, on horseback, or in a sleigh, to meet various clients,etc. He died suddenly, and, within a fee weeks the wife, bis widow, suddenly came back to good health, and gradually to ok over the business, eventually becoming more successful than her husband. I'm thinking it took place in Russia, or was from a Russian short story..?
