This has been plaguing me for a long time. I saw this movie in the late 90's or early 2000's on TV. The story was set around a elderly mother telling her daughter stories about herself when she was younger. I believe the woman (mom) had a relationship with a soldier during WWII or WWI, only to have him die and find out that she is pregnant later. She marries someone else, but at the end of the movie I think she tells the daughter that she is the soldier's child, and then she dies. This is all I remember, but it's driving me nuts! Any ideas?
