A young rich boy during w.wII who becomes separated from his family and has to learn to take care of himself and possibly has to work in a camp. He goes through many struggles and also finds a shot down plane and pretends he's a pilot when enemy/ German planes fly overhead and he hides finding the dead soldier. In the end, he's desolate and is reconnected to his family, who barely recognizes him.
