Title Help

I'm looking for a movie that I saw a few years ago and loved. In the beginning a little girl and her older brother find out that there's a gypsy living near them and the girl is afraid of him at first, but later becomes friends with him. The little girl is a tomboy and the father sends her off to live with her aunt to become a proper young lady. Her mother had died a few years before,I think. She takes a train to her aunts house and on the train meets a famous woman. I can't remeber what she was famous for. Then she gets to her aunts house and meets another little girl who she hates at first, but as the movie goes along, they become best friends. There's more, but I can't remeber. Please help me figure out the title! Thanks.
